Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in San Diego, California. I am willing to travel in and around the San Diego county, at no extra cost. Photoshoots outside of these areas, incur a $50+ travel costs.
When will I get my photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos within 1 week. You can download all the photos from the gallery and also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints! You will receive full personal rights to all the photos.
How many pictures will I receive?
Typically you will receive anywhere between 50-100 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
What is the editing style?
Editing style includes color and light correction, blemish removal, complexion softening, and overall retouching. I use Photoshop and Lightroom for editing.
What time and place do you prefer to take photos?
The golden hour at the beach is my absolute favorite time and place to capture beautiful moments! This is typically 1 hour and 15 minutes before the sunset and about 15 minutes after the sunset. The exact time varies throughout the year because the sun sets at different times. Some of my favorite beach locations include the Oceanside Pier, South Ponto Beach, Torrey Pines State Beach, Scripps Memorial Pier, Windansea Beach, Sunset Cliffs, and Coronado Beach. I also love doing shoots at Balboa Park, San Dieguito Park, Old Poway Park, Discovery Lake, and the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park. Of course there are other amazing places in San Diego, and I am always willing to explore new areas. Feel free to contact me and we can talk about your ideas!
How should I prepare for a photo shoot?
Get plenty of rest! If you feel sick, please contact me so that we can reschedule to a better time. You want to feel and look your best! If you are doing a photo session with a baby, a toddler or young children, please make sure that they are fed and take their naps before the shoot. Bring an extra bottle, a pacifier if needed, and their favorite comfort toy/blanket. Trust me, they'll be happy and we'll have a successful day!
When and how do you prefer to get paid?
I prefer to get paid right after the photo shoot. I accept cash, Venmo, and CashApp.
